The admin backend got its skeleton today: about 25 admin endpoints covering user management, with TOTP second-factor on sensitive operations — however valuable an admin account is, a password alone is a single point of failure; quotas moved from hardcoded values into a table, so changing limits no longer means a code release; backups became manually downloadable. CN accounts gained two-way binding between phone and Apple, with guidance on conflict instead of letting users guess. The more memorable catch: supabase db query --file executes only the first statement in a file and silently drops the rest — a multi-statement migration 'succeeding' while its tables never got created is a chilling thought. Wrote a migration script that splits by top-level semicolons to kill it at the root, handling comments, $$ blocks and strings correctly.
