Today the platform finished paving the road for passwordless accounts. A whole class of users never set a password — they only verified an email — and the old login page was a dead end for them: nothing to type into the password box. Those accounts now route straight to code sign-in. Recovery got its proof-check completed too, and the flow no longer drops your sign-in state midway — being kicked out mid-recovery ends today; the recovery template shipped its final version, and passwordless sign-in cleared its deployment checks. More worth recording is a design document: shared login for hosted and external apps, written down — collecting the scattered campaigns of the past few days (email verification, passwordless routing, recovery templates) into one framework. And yesterday's ten-minute code expiry got confirmed in production today — both repositories filed the record; a rule isn't real until production says so.
