Today the platform tore down a gate it built itself. Mode A of identity-lookup always required a redemption record before a query could run — meant to prevent cross-app user enumeration, but proxy login flows never produce redemption records: real users on international email-proxy or China phone-proxy logins were permanently invisible to consumers, every query returning zero rows. A user over on debate sat in the 'never queried' state for over a week, and this gate was the root. Mode A now queries directly; the gate survives only in Mode B (bulk scenarios, enumeration protection unchanged); the same-shape migration ran on both databases, contract and change notice filed. One small thing with a wink: the devlog skill itself accumulated five rounds of rule revisions these past days, all committed today — the post you're reading is a product of the new rules. Also registered three EarthOL requirements pending review.
