The platform's main line today was the other half of the same job as debate's: the email-verification overhaul landed platform-side. Six-digit codes matching the SMS feel, ten-minute validity, link callbacks kept as a parallel channel, visible sign-in progress, and password and code flows folded into one; Alibaba Cloud SMTP wired underneath with real send-receive tests passed and test accounts cleaned up. The spec landed once on the platform, once on debate — the same dialect now in effect in both places, so whichever site a user is on, verification feels identical.
