iMouse added two gates at the bottom layer today. First, instruction queues: queued-but-not-yet-run instructions could silently vanish; now they're preserved. Second, stroke-recording isolation: annotations from different sessions could bleed into each other — a circle drawn in one session wandering off to another; now every session keeps to itself. The storage layer took a hundred-plus lines of changes, held down by two rounds of tests. Nobody sees this work, but an annotation tool's trust is built on 'what I drew is still where I drew it'.
