Two things at iobot: housing the data, and laying track for the new line. Data got serious treatment — twenty-plus intermediate artifacts archived, private backups landed with personal inputs permanently excluded from the repository, and a push-approval gate now blocks non-compliant backup destinations. Research data lives for decades; garbage and privacy both get handled on the day of entry. On the experiment side, the evolution line's first batch ran: cell transduction, signal and distractors, local threshold adaptation, and fixed-threshold versus adaptive rules — four shots, each with a verdict; the action-readout audit delivered a substantive one — under bilateral mixed drive, side information is lost right at entry-to-pool transduction; and the evolution probe's first look came back dual-missing, engineering and correlation both failing. Ugly verdicts, but every experiment landed with audit and trail intact — that's the process working.
