iobot crossed two stages today. Stage six's grand re-test held on all three pillars: recomputation exact, states identical, prior experiments confirmed — the memory-trace conclusions are solid. Then stage seven opened: first, a minimal output organ for the little ones — they can act, refrain, and come in three behavioral profiles. Then a variance decomposition produced a lovely number: of individual differences, birth explains 17.7%, experience 12.1%, and a full 70.2% is the interaction between them. There is no universally good experience — it depends on who you are. The environment-feedback loop also held: every individual locked into its initial state, and open-loop behavior types all collapsed. The last attempt — breaking the lock with reward — failed round one: the reward channel itself works, but how to use it is a new question.
