Today the product's main line officially switched tracks: growth moves to the back seat, and the co-created rankings system takes the wheel. The first batch landed a lot: rankings gained time dimensions — today's heat by default, switchable to this week, all-time, and fresh nominations; big charts got pagination, with low-vote entries folding away; the film, anime and tech zones now carry authoritative official charts, retiring their community-built counterparts, and the music language charts expanded into three official ones. The user-built chart pipeline only started truly working today: the candidate input box wasn't rendering, validation had a missing branch, and the nomination floor was set too high — three breaks reconnected one by one. The 200-entry nomination cap came off too, with rate limits, banned-word checks and duplicate validation taking over abuse prevention. Sharing became a closed loop as well — a shared link lands directly on that entry with a highlight, and if a visitor votes before logging in, the vote rides along once they do.
The other thing: growth verification officially opens — a lifecycle ledger and a baseline snapshot, measure the baseline first so later we can actually tell whether things grew. The monetization call is settled too: self-serve placements retired, AdSense leads. And the question-crafting skills changed process as well: after three consecutive bad batches, the plain-language review went from suggestion to a mandatory gate before upload, checked in zh/en pairs — change one side, the other must follow.
