The create page had major surgery today, and the boldest cut was a deletion: the 'category' selector is gone entirely — zones are the one and only content classification; two parallel taxonomies just meant picking wrong. The surgery also fixed the chronic vanishing-draft problem (fill half the form, refresh, all gone — never again), made ranking candidates switch between bulk paste and per-entry editing, and unified image handling across all question types. The ranking system got its second-level pages and both chart zones on zone pages, with eight charts missing filters getting their own dimensions. One act of self-correction: a count showed 15 of the last 18 generated questions were votes — one type crowding out the rest, a lopsided diet. The fix isn't a gentle reminder, it's a hard quota: every batch is bucketed by type. The identity-pull failure states also tied the loop: failures now permanently leave the auto-retry pool, visible as a red dot with manual retry — automation ends where a human handle begins.
