Today the question pipeline got its final set of traffic laws. The hardest one: total daily publishing is capped at six — the old rules kept hot questions and regular questions on separate ledgers, so up to twelve could flood out per day, more than any reader wants; now hot questions claim slots with priority, regular ones fill the gaps, all on a uniform four-hour spacing. Sentence patterns got a quota too: measurement showed 87% of titles were questions — a wall of question marks makes everything feel like an interrogation. Non-stance questions must now be imperative or noun phrases, with at most three question titles per batch. A small mystery also closed: the backfill runs idled twice (Oct 5 and 12) because a script called .then on a synchronous function — the TypeError died quietly and the run looked done while doing nothing. After the fix, a 32-question backfill landed: match-up broke its zero for the first time, vote share pressed down to twenty percent across nine types. And the best trivia: one pizza question was rejected by the reader gate twice and rewritten twice before passing — that gate is genuinely picky now. The day's own batch of five ran four types, with Huawei's 'Starshine' admitted as a cooldown exception, and the podium type back from exile.
