Today was basically one thing: turning ranking entries Wiki-style so anyone can edit them collaboratively. Morning went to the implementation plan — split into four batches, committed separately, nothing pushed until reviewed. No swallowing it in one bite.
The first batch hit a landmine: rename requests ride on the report channel, and reports carry a "one report per person" uniqueness constraint — meaning anyone who had ever filed an ordinary report could never apply for a rename. A pit nobody would stumble into in daily use, but it sat there all the same. The edit API's boundaries took some grinding too: the main name can never be edited directly (application flow only), metadata passes through a whitelist only, and even restoring a history entry generates a reverse record for the audit chain. Closing self-review caught four bits of impure code of mine, plus one more oversight: a brand-new empty chart would get folded away by the low-vote rule — blank first screen, because the rule never considered a chart with zero votes but fresh age.
In the afternoon, an old ruling got overturned. Nominations used to earn nothing; now each one pays +1 reputation, and a full ten in a day adds 1 Fuel. The E2E run earned my attention on two spots: the tenth nomination really did trigger the payout, and a second edit on the same entry paid zero — the anti-abuse held. The old ruling's record stays in place; the reversal is documented separately.
Minor items on the side: fake data got registered and wholesale-rollbackable (cleanup won't touch real users); official charts trimmed to 14; the tech zone gained phone and EV charts.
